about us

A social group of dedicated fly fishers who are passionate about fly fishing in the tropical north of Australia and equally as passionate about the close camaraderie this sport brings. This passion and dedication led to the creation of the NT Flyfishers Social Mob blog site; an interactive and creative outlet where everyone can share our wonderful fly fishing adventures and link into the “after fishing” social events we enjoy in this incredible part of the world.

ADVENTURES OF TRIPLE J AND SHAUN

Triple J's dog, Diesel has been looking after the Bassetts, while Jenni Jack and Jon, are away in Scotland, where they may wet a line, but will certainly wet their whistle.

Diesel looking after the 'Bassetts'

Whilst Diesel has been looking after the Bassetts, Triple J (Jenni, Jack and Jon) have been showing Shaun the sheep around before he returns for the BSSS.

Shaun the guide

Just on the BSSS, Rodge got online and found a one hundred piece set of plastic sheep for the sheep station, only $16 from china, they have arrived....maybe a bit smaller than he thought?

100 sheep???
Diesel doesn't eat 'dog food' anymore, he has become accustomed to a classier cuisine, such as red curries, king prawn and buffalo mozzarella cheese pizza, ham, roast pork, corned beef, tempura fish and prawn, toast with honey or vegemite, and this weekend may try a special lamb dish (bit worrying for Shaun!)  Diesel doesn't mind a beer either, provided its a good ale.

Now I'm sure when the Triple J mob arrive back in Darwin, they will give you a better run down on their trip, but here are the highlights.  They did eat food too.....

  1. As long as Shaun stays off the piss he can come to the Bynoe Sheep Station Stakes.
